Background
Adetola's background was in Computer Science and Economics. However, she had no prior experience with Salesforce before Covid. During the lockdown, she decided to proactively level up her skillset. She explored CRMs and decided to pursue learning Salesforce. After trying to learn Salesforce through Trailhead, Adetola found herself super interested in Salesforce, but struggling to really understand the materials.
The Results
After completing the "Salesforce Admin Bootcamp" course, Adetola is now a Certified Salesforce Administrator, feeling empowered to pursue new career opportunities leveraging her expertise in Financial Services, Computer Science and now Salesforce configuration. Instead of sitting around, letting time pass during the pandemic, she now has credentials and highly marketable skills to have a dramatic impact on any organization using Salesforce.
The Process
Following along with the course curriculum, Adetola found the daily on-demand lessons manageable and jam-packed with insightful information. Since each lesson referred back to any corresponding Trailhead-related content, Adetola was able to take her learning even further by reviewing the Brainiate Academy materials and then the Trailhead lessons to earn points and badges while ensuring she was getting the most out of the course.
Participating in the live daily Q&A sessions gave Adetola an opportunity to listen in on questions asked by other students, while also being able to raise any of her own questions as needed.
Adetola found the private Facebook group to be another valuable resource in the learning experience, as it created another forum allowing students to interact with each other, raise questions at any point and learn from each other.
