Case Study: LaVeeta Smith
As a Salesforce Admin, LaVeeta is now able to take on more complex projects, which resulted in an increase in salary!
Background
Before discovering Brainiate Academy, LaVeeta was an avid Trailhead user. The Brainiate Academy courses and supplemental live Q&A sessions were an enormous resource for LaVeeta to connect Salesforce features to common everyday scenarios. Although she alternate between Classic and Lightning, the Brainiate Academy courses she completed helps make everything understandable, giving LaVeeta the knowledge and confidence she needs to solve problems at work.
The Results
After completing the "Salesforce Admin Bootcamp" course, LaVeeta is now a much better listener to distinguish what her executives believe they want. She asks more business use case related questions so that she can determine if the outcome will be in line with the initial ask.
LaVeeta also refined her Permission Sets and created customized views based on user Profile assignments. This allows LaVeeta and her team to ensure that the users see data that is appropriate to them, based on their functional responsibilities within the organization.
Now LaVeeta is taking on more complex projects than previously, instead of outsourcing them to an implementation partner. In turn, that has allows LaVeeta to advocate for a substantial increase in salary. (WOOT WOOT!!)
Simultaneously, LaVeeta has learned how to conduct relevant business analysis in order to support her projects.

While going through the course materials, LaVeeta realized that there is more than one way to learn tips and tricks to enhance her knowledge of the Salesforce platform. In addition, recognizing that not everything from Classic carries over to Lightning was a big lightbulb moment for her.
